Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat "Colocynth" Glazed Ceramic Vase
A two tiered "Colocynth" ceramic vase by Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat featuring his celebrated, earthen tone glazes in hues of turquoise, burgundy, moss and bone. Raised off white spines serve as ribbing for the piece, which is otherwise highly textured with minute and organic undulations in its surface, While the upper tier narrows significantly, the lower section is rewardingly rotund and is decorated with a much wider array of tones than the top bulb, which is mostly a deep emerald green.
